Academic merit contest 2010

In 2010, Centro Vegetariano promoted an academic merit contest, with the goal of promoting academic work and research on the vegan and vegetarian diets. The prize was a check of 500 euros for the best paper.

Do you remember when gays wanted equal rights so they could do things like being able to visit their loved one in the hospital just like a married person? This made a lot of sense. Many States were willing to pass laws that would give them all the rights of a married couple but they would call it domestic partnership and similar names. The idea would have spread until all States would have eventually had that kind of law. Eventually they could have changed the name to "marriage". Did it happen? No! Gays wanted all or nothing. So because of their unwillingness to compromise on one word they got nothing except in one State.

Animals see no borders

Some people do not understand why a person in one country would help animals in another country.  It is simple: Animals do not see borders. 
They can easily go from Spain to Portugal or vice versa and they have no idea that they crossed the border.  In the USA animals can go from Mexico into the USA and again they have no idea that they crossed the border.  Animals just see more land with maybe a fence or a river.

Dogs are honest about their feelings. Love is irresistible and dogs seem to easily feel someone's love for them. We've been fortunate to share life with a number of vegan dogs. Yes, Beautiful, Magic, Vegan, Miracles, Baba, Kisses, Valiant, etc. represent the pinnacle of their species and are at the helm of the 'vegan dog movement'.  We would like to share the knowledge attained from our experience caring for vegan dogs.
